Over the course of the spring semester, University of Minnesota apparel design students have studied the visual language presented in "The Wonderful World Before Disney"—an exhibition that examines fairy tale iconography before Disney dominated the genre—and created eighteen one-of-a-kind garments that draw on the moral, aesthetic, and political value of the tales.
